Individual Psychotherapy
Depth-oriented psychotherapy for trauma, anxiety, attachment, identity, and significant life transitions.
Integrating evidence-based trauma therapy with somatic, relational, and transpersonal approaches.
Change requires more than understanding why.
Insight is important. But some of the patterns that shape how we feel, relate, protect ourselves, and move through the world are not changed through insight alone.
My approach is depth-oriented and experiential. We may work with thoughts and beliefs, but also with emotion, attachment patterns, body-based responses, protective parts, memory, meaning, and the ways past experiences continue to shape the present.
The goal is not simply to manage symptoms. It is to understand what is happening beneath them and create the conditions for something genuinely different to emerge.
What we work on
Trauma & Complex Trauma
Past experiences that continue to shape safety, relationships, self-worth, emotion, or the way you respond under stress.
Anxiety & Overwhelm
Persistent anxiety, anticipatory fear, rumination, perfectionism, or difficulty feeling settled even when things appear okay externally.
Attachment & Relationships
Recurring relational patterns, difficulty trusting, fear of abandonment, over-functioning, boundaries, intimacy, or feeling disconnected from yourself in relationships.
Performance Blocks, “Yips” & Burnout
Patterns that interfere with confidence, focus, creativity, or performance - including the “yips,” fear of failure, perfectionism, and burnout.
Identity & Life Transitions
Periods when who you have been no longer quite fits — including relationship changes, parenthood, career transitions, grief, reinvention, or significant changes in identity.
Spiritual Experiences & Psychedelic Integration
Making meaning of psychedelic experiences and integrating insights, emotions, memories, or shifts in identity into everyday life.
How we work
No single approach fits every person.
Therapy is shaped around your history, goals, strengths, and the way you naturally process experience. Our work may draw from Brainspotting, EMDR, Somatic Parts Work, depth-oriented psychotherapy, transpersonal approaches, and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy when appropriate.
Coaching- and Performance Psychology
Drawing from coaching and performance psychology, we may work with confidence, focus, pressure, decision-making, burnout, creative blocks, leadership challenges, and the ability to perform effectively when the stakes are high.
This approach can be especially useful for athletes, creatives, leaders, and professionals who are not necessarily seeking symptom-focused treatment, but want to understand and shift the patterns affecting performance, resilience, or growth.
Somatic Parts Work
Sometimes one part of us wants change while another part is afraid of it. One part may know we are safe while another continues to brace, shut down, over-function, avoid, or protect.
Somatic Parts Work creates a way to work with those internal conflicts without treating them as pathology.
We may explore protective patterns, emotions, impulses, body sensations, and different aspects of the self with curiosity rather than trying to override them. The aim is greater internal cooperation, self-understanding, flexibility, and choice.
Brainspotting
Brainspotting is a relational, brain-body therapy that uses focused visual attention to access emotional and somatic material that can be difficult to reach through conversation alone.
It can be especially useful when you understand something intellectually but still feel caught in the same emotional response, body-based reaction, trauma pattern, or performance block.
The work is precise, experiential, somatic, and largely non-directive. Rather than forcing an interpretation or solution, Brainspotting creates space for deeper processing to unfold at the client’s own pace.
I am a Certified Brainspotting Practitioner and often integrate Brainspotting with Parts Work and transpersonal and somatic approaches.
I also use Expansion Brainspotting in work involving performance, creativity, leadership, and other areas where the goal is not simply healing what hurts, but expanding capacity, access, and possibility.
EMDR
EMDR is an evidence-based trauma therapy that helps people process distressing experiences that continue to feel emotionally or physiologically “stuck.”
Rather than relying entirely on talking through an experience, EMDR uses bilateral stimulation alongside focused processing to help reduce the emotional intensity of difficult memories and support new associations, perspectives, and responses.
I may use EMDR for trauma, anxiety, fear-based patterns, painful relational experiences, and other experiences that continue to carry a disproportionate emotional charge in the present.
Depth- and Transpersonal Psychotherapy
Not everything meaningful fits neatly into symptoms, diagnoses, or coping skills.
Depth-oriented psychotherapy explores the patterns beneath the surface: attachment, identity, relationships, unconscious dynamics, meaning, and the ways earlier experiences continue to shape present life.
Transpersonal work expands that lens to include spirituality, existential questions, altered states, creativity, identity transformation, and experiences that may be deeply significant without fitting easily into conventional psychological language.
The goal is not to impose meaning, but to create enough space for your own meaning to emerge.

SoulBound Healing is a private-pay practice. This allows me to offer care that is shaped around the person rather than around insurance requirements - including work that may not require a mental health diagnosis, as well as longer session formats and intensives that are not typically reimbursed through insurance.
If you are looking to use insurance, I also see clients through the Center for Healing and Transformation in Kailua, where I currently work with HMSA and HMSA QUEST/Medicaid clients in 53-minute psychotherapy sessions.

This is psychotherapy. However, depending on your goals, our work may incorporate coaching psychology, sports and performance psychology, trauma therapy, or a combination of approaches.
-
Yes. Not everyone comes to therapy because they have a diagnosis. Some clients come to work on performance, confidence, burnout, perfectionism, creativity, leadership, contest preparation, or the “yips.”
Because this work is offered within a psychotherapy framework, we can draw from coaching and performance psychology while also using evidence-based psychotherapy modalities such as EMDR when clinically appropriate.
